Will Book Label 2012 run on Windows 7 ?

Yes. Book Label 2012 is thoroughly tested on Windows 7.

How can import my existing database from another program ?

An import function is coming in the next Book Label update. If you need your database imported before then, contact support.

When I start the program I get "gdiplus.dll not being found (error 126)". Why ?

Prior to Windows XP, GDI+ was not installed with the operating system and need to be installed manually. You can find the download the GDI+ redistributable from Microsoft. If you still get this problem after the installation; manually copy the gdiplus.dll into the Book Label directory.

All of a sudden no (or incorrect) data is downloaded ?

Make sure that you have the latest version. It that can be downloaded from the Download Area.

How do I move my database to a new computer ?

The backup/restore function is ideal for this purpose. Read a more detailed explanation in this blog post.

I can't open the helpfile. Help!

If you get an error when trying to open the help file; follow the instructions in this Microsoft Knowledge Base article.

I can't open the PDF User's Guide.

You need to install a PDF reader. We recommend Foxit Reader which is free and can be downloaded from Foxit Software.

Will my license key work in the latest version ?

All minor updates (e.g. 3.0 to 3.1) are free and can simply be downloaded from the Member's Area of our homepage. Major updates (e.g. 3.x to 4.x) carry a small fee and can be purchased from the Member's Area.

I own an old version of your product. Where can I download it?

You can download the latest installer for your purchased older version in the Member's Area.

Each time I start the program I need to input my license key. Why?

If this happens; right-click the program icon and choose "Run as Administrator". Then input the license key and it will be stored correctly.
