Tutorial #5 - Handling Loans
One frequently used function for all
home-users is probably the loan management.
Movie Label keeps track of your loans for you
and even let you send reminder emails to those
who tend to return your DVDs late.
Adding your Friends
Before you can start tracking your loans you
need to define at least one person. To do this,
you need to switch to the Loan Manager and click
the New-button in the toolbar. When you have
done this you can switch back to the Movie
section to manage your first loan.
The Loan Bar
 The
first thing you should do is to show the Loan
Bar (choose Loans from the Action-menu). Now
select the person that you just created. Finally
select one or more DVDs and click the
Apply-button. The DVDs will now be listed in the
Loan Manger and the Entries view will show a
small picture in the left most column for each
entry on loan.
Returning a Loan
You can return loans from the Loan Manager or in
the Movie section (by choosing Return Loan from
the Action-menu).
