Tutorial #6 - Adding Lookup
Data
Movie Label contains a lot of predefined
lookup data for media types, genres, languages
etc. We are aware that this is not enough for
everyone and that you will probably need to add
your own lookup data.
Adding new Media Types,
Genres, Countries, Certifications, etc
Start by choosing Media Type, Genre or some
of the other lookup tables from the Data-page in
the toolbar. A dialog will then be shown (that
looks pretty much the same for all of the above)
where you can add your own data.
 When
Media Types there are a few options you need to
choose for each new media (if it is read only
etc). Otherwise simply type the name of the of
the new Genre (or whatever it is) and click the
Add-button. Later when adding a new Entry to
your database you will be able to choose from
the lookup data you have added.
Note that you can add new lookup data when you
view the properties of a movie too. Simply click
the '...'-button next to the field.
