Movie Label 2012 - What's New?
Our premier movie database software just got a whole lot better. The seventh version of Movie Label has been all about perfecting everything and implementing as many user-requested features as possible.
The first thing you will notice is the much improved performance due to new memory management, improved data handling and revamped information download routines.
Let's take a look at some of the news in version 7:
Major performance enhancements
The new memory management and data handling has lowered the memory usage to less than half, compared to the previous version. The program also starts and handles faster. The most impressive, though, might be that we have optimized the information download routines and will thereby save you a lot of waiting. Information for a movie that took 23 seconds to download in the previous version only takes 4 seconds in Movie Label 2012!!
Office 2010 style ribbon
We have updated the ribbon (toolbar) to the latest specifications (found in Office 2010 among other products). We have also added the latest specification application menu to the product.
Previous / Next buttons in Movie Properties
You can now move between the movies in a view within the movie properties dialog by pressing the previous/next buttons.
Cast and Crew copy
The cast and/or crew can now be copied between movies.
Media Type improvements
Adding and handling media types has gotten easier. The whole dialog has been updated and icons are now automatically resized.

The movie properties dialog has been updated to make information more accessible. The personal data is now presented on the first page and all the media fields are moved to the media section on top.
Cast and crew editing improved
The performance when editing/adding cast and crew has been dramatically improved. In our tests the time to open the dialog dropped from 8.5 seconds (in the previous version) to 1.5 seconds in Movie Label 2012. The new dialog also shows more information (including pictures).

A number of new data fields have been added. Movie Label will now keep track of the dates when a movie was added (and when the data is modified). You can also track Original Language and the Owner of a media. A separate Trivia field has also been added so you can keep the Comments field for your personal comments. A trailer field has been added to Wanted Items and a trailer link is downloaded (when available).

When adding movies from your harddrive the movie title will now be retrieved from the folder name (if each movie has its own folder). There is also a new function to clean the titles from specified strings (to achieve a better result when querying the Internet for information).
Enhanced Search and Sort
New fields have been added for you to search and sort by.
