What's new in Music Label 2009?
 As
with Movie Label 2009, the main focus for
Music Label 2009 was to improve existing
functionality instead of adding new
functions only used by some. Music Label
2009 enhances most of the core functionality
in the product, optimizes the speed and
increases the stability.
Re-Number Media
This has been requested several times now
and we have surrendered and included it in
the product. You will be able to re-number
your collection based on a number of
different sort criteria.
Grouping and Customizing
We have added quick grouping that is
much easier to use than the Group By box
(that previously was the only way of
grouping). You can now group and un-group
your views with the click of a button.
Grouping and customizing of views has also
been added to most areas of the program.
Improved Sorting
You can now choose words to omit when
sorting (such as "the" or "a").
 Improved
Statistics
The statistics can now be sorted and span
over more than one screen (to make it
clearer). We have also added a few new
Statistics items and re-designed the screen
to make it easier to use.
Performance
Optimizations
As always we have tried to optimize the
performance of the program in as many areas
as possible. A lot of behind-the-scenes
changes have been made to the code to
account for this. Several changes has also
been made to increase stability by code
refactoring.
New ways of finding
information
Advanced Find now got more fields, Wanted
Items got more filters and the Loan Manager
can now be filtered by person.
Audio file clean-up
function added
We have added a function that clean-up all
tracks in your database where the file
association has been broken. This should be
a real time-saver for everyone organizing
audio files with Music Label.
 Cover
Art added from album file folders
Now Music Label adds the cover art from the
folder of an album (if found).
User's Guide
The helpfile is now much more detailed and a
PDF User's Guide is available for download.
