Will Password
Memory 2008 work on Vista?
Yes. Password Memory 2008 is thoroughly tested on
Windows Vista.
I can't get backup
to work?
A problem with the backup routine was found in
early versions and was corrected in version
1.0.3. This problem did not affect Windows
Vista. Download the latest version from the
Download Area to fix this.
How can import my
existing database from another program?
A program for importing existing databases is
currently in development.
After installing the latest version the program
no longer starts. It shows the splash and then
nothing happens?
If you use Windows XP (or earlier) and have not
used Windows Update, the new versions of
Password Memory can't run. It will show the splash screen
and then nothing will happen. To solve this
download and install the
Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable Package.
When I start the
program I get errors about "gdiplus.dll" not
being found (error 126). Why?
Prior to Windows XP, GDI+ was
not installed with the operating system and need
to be installed manually. You can find the
download the GDI+ redistributable from Microsoft
by clicking
here. If you still get this problem
after the installation; manually copy the
gdiplus.dll into the Password Memory directory.
My Greek fonts do
not display correctly. What can I do?
Password Memory will not officially support all
fonts and variations until we release a Unicode
version. One of our users has found a
work-around though. Check his post in the Forum
here.
